Our Practice

Creekside Animal Hospital is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area. At Creekside Animal Hospital we strive to offer not only sound advice but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn't feeling well but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy. We also serve patients in Houston, The Woodlands, Cypress, Spring, Conroe, and Magnolia.

  • Dr. David Dolan

    Owner/Veterinarian

Dr. Dolan has always had a deep love for animals. As a pre-teen, he raised and trained his first dog on his own. He actually won the obedience competition at the ASPCA when competing against adults! He has wanted to be a veterinarian since he read All Creatures Great and Small in junior high school.

Dr. Dolan went to Texas A&M University for both undergrad and Veterinary school.  He has a special interest in surgery and preventative medicine, but most of all he likes to teach and communicate with his clients about how to best care for their beloved pets and keep them happy and healthy for as long as possible!  He loves visiting and playing with his patients.  He especially gets great joy in making them happy with his lean treats.

Dr. Dolan is a member of both the AVMA – American Veterinary Medical Association and TVMA – Texas Veterinary Medical Association.

He has owned veterinary practices in the Spring/ Woodlands area for over 25 years. He is married with multiple kids and grandkids, some of whom have or do work for him now. During his free time, he enjoys being outside enjoying nature. He likes to travel around the state in his RV and enjoy the peace of being outdoors.

His interests include birdwatching and all kinds of photography (including wildlife, astrophotography, landscape photography, and anything else that he finds interesting).

  • Dr. Sue Collier

    Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Collier was born in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Her father was in the United States Air Force and she has lived in many places including Alaska, California, Puerto Rico,  Arkansas, Maryland, and New Mexico. She made it full circle and returned to Wichita Falls, TX when her father retired from Sheppard AFB.

Dr. Collier attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 1985.  She attended the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in College Station, Texas, and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She has a special interest in feline medicine and geriatric medicine and is currently a member of the AVMA and the TVMA.

Her love for animals began at a very young age. In high school and college, she developed a passion for science, particularly biology. Veterinary medicine combined both of these and was a natural career path for her. Her satisfaction comes from being able to apply her knowledge and expertise to each case so that the pet and the owner are both taken care of, and the best possible outcome is achieved. From preventative care to understanding a pet’s illness, her emphasis is on educating her clients about all components of their pet’s care.

Since graduating from vet school, she has lived in Houston and considers it home for herself and her family. She has a son and a daughter, that are currently in college. The crew that makes up the rest of the family are:

    Gecko, a 15-year-old polydactyl cat
    Noodle-Cat, her “Goth” cat
Pretzel, is an orange tabby cat that has radial nerve paralysis. His right foreleg curls in a little and it looks like a pretzel.
Eskel, her “fluffy” cat, was found on the side of the road. He has a scar on his face and was named for a character in a video game, who has a facial scar.
Finn, a rescue PitBull that is a huge love sponge that thinks he is a toy teacup poodle and wants in your lap all of the time, but weighs 80 lbs
Brienne, a rescued Rottweiler that was in a shelter and scheduled to be euthanized. No one wanted her due to an eyelid deformity. When Dr. Collier met her, all she could see was her sweetness.
When she is not caring for patients or taking care of her family she enjoys reading, crocheting, and scrapbooking. Dr. Collier is a self-proclaimed nerd that loves Star Trek, Star Wars, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and anything science fiction.  Her Christmas tree has only ornaments from all of the sci-fi and fantasy books and movies that she adores. Dr. Collier has even been known to attend the Renaissance Festival in costume. Being a nerd brings her great joy!
